Terms of Service

• You must be at least 18 years old and use the Service for business or professional purposes.
• Keep your login details secure. You’re responsible for activity under your account and in workspaces you administer, including what your teammates do there.
• Workspace admins can invite and remove teammates, buy credits, and manage billing. Credits and reports belong to the workspace, not to individual members.
• Give us accurate information and keep your email address current so we can reach you.

Honello loads the public web pages you submit, analyzes them with automated tools and AI models, and produces reports with scores, findings, recommendations, and fix prompts. Features differ by plan, as described on our pricing page.

Reports are generated automatically and can be incomplete or wrong. They’re informational, not professional, legal, accessibility-compliance, or financial advice, and we don’t promise any particular result, such as higher conversions, rankings, or inclusion in AI search answers. Review recommendations and fix prompts before you act on them, and test changes before you deploy them to your site.

We may change, add, or remove features. If we remove a paid feature you rely on, we’ll give you reasonable notice.

You may scan any page that’s publicly available on the internet, including competitors’ and prospects’ pages. You agree not to:

• use the Service to access pages behind a login, paywall, or other access control, or to get around a site’s technical protections;
• submit URLs or run scans in a way meant to overload, disrupt, or attack any website, including ours;
• use reports to harass anyone, or to infringe anyone’s intellectual property, privacy, or other rights;
• scrape, copy, or resell the Service itself (as opposed to your reports), or reverse engineer it, except as the law allows;
• create multiple accounts or workspaces to get more free scans, or otherwise abuse promotions;
• break any law, or help anyone else do any of the above.

We may refuse scans, remove content, or limit accounts that violate this section.

Free scan

Each website (by root domain) and each workspace can receive one free single-page scan. We may change or end the free scan at any time.

Credits

• One credit scans one page once, and the AI Slop Score™ check uses one credit. Rescanning a page uses another credit.
• If a page fails to scan, or an AI Slop Score™ check fails, the credit is returned to your workspace automatically.
• Credits bought in packs don’t expire while your account is open and the Service is offered.
• Credits have no cash value, can’t be transferred between workspaces or sold, and aren’t refundable except as required by law or stated in these Terms.

Subscriptions

• Pro and Agency plans are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically until canceled.
• Each billing period adds that plan’s monthly scans to your workspace. Unused monthly scans carry over for one additional billing period, up to one month’s allowance, and then expire. Monthly scans are used before pack credits.
• You can cancel anytime from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep your plan’s features until then. Plan changes take effect as described in the billing portal.
• Except where the law requires otherwise, payments aren’t refundable, including for partial billing periods or unused scans.

Prices and payment

• Prices are shown in US dollars and exclude taxes, which we add where required. Payments are processed by Stripe under its terms.
• We may change prices. Changes to a subscription take effect at your next billing period after we give you at least 14 days’ notice. Changes never affect credits you’ve already bought.
• If a subscription payment fails, we may pause plan features until it’s paid.

You may download, share, and use your reports for any lawful purpose, including giving them to your clients. On plans that include white-labeled PDF reports, you may remove Honello branding from exported reports and present them under your own brand.

When you deliver reports to clients, you’re responsible for your relationship with them, including what you promise. Don’t state or imply that Honello endorses you, your services, or your conclusions.

You keep ownership of what you provide, such as your logo, URLs, and account information (“Your Content”). You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, copy, process, and display Your Content only as needed to run, secure, and improve the Service. As between you and us, you may use the reports we generate for you without restriction, subject to these Terms.

The pages you scan belong to their owners. Screenshots and excerpts in reports are included so you can understand the findings; you’re responsible for how you use them.

We own the Service, including our software, scoring methods, prompts, design, and brand. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without obligation to you.

The Service relies on third-party providers, such as hosting, AI, and payment providers, and links to websites we don’t control. We’re not responsible for third-party websites or services, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.

You can stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these Terms, if your use creates legal or security risk for us or others, or if we stop offering the Service. Where it’s reasonable, we’ll give notice first. If we end the Service for reasons other than your breach, we’ll refund the unused portion of any prepaid subscription period and unused pack credits.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including payment obligations, ownership, disclaimers, limits of liability, and indemnity) survive.

The Service and all reports are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We don’t warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that reports will be accurate or complete.

To the fullest extent the law allows, neither party will be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, even if advised of the possibility. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose or US $100.

Some jurisdictions don’t allow certain limits, so some of the above may not apply to you.

You’ll defend and indemnify Merakite LLC against third-party claims, and the resulting losses and reasonable costs, that arise from your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or reports you deliver to your clients.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be heard exclusively in the state or federal courts located in that state, and both parties consent to those courts’ jurisdiction. Before filing a claim, please contact us at hello@honello.com so we can try to resolve it informally.

We may update these Terms. We’ll post the new version here and update the effective date, and for material changes we’ll email account owners at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.

These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Not enforcing a provision isn’t a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
